An interview with Chris
Tell us about yourself outside of work.
Born and raised in New Jersey, I’m a lifelong automotive enthusiast with a passion for tech and helping others.
When I’m not working on cars, I enjoy building computers and finding new ways to put my technical skills to use.
What first drew you into automotive industry, and what made you decide to start Lightning Auto Service?
As a second-generation automotive technician, I learned the trade from my father and followed in his footsteps.
John and I founded Lightning Auto Service after recognizing the need for safer, more reliable ADAS calibrations. Because improper calibration can have life-altering consequences, our mission is simple: help ensure everyone gets home safely.
What do you believe sets Lightning Auto Service apart from everyone else?
Lightning Auto Service brings dealership-level technology, tools, and expertise directly to your shop.
We make the investment, so you don’t have to.
What's one lesson you've learned throughout your career that still influences how you approach your work today?
I believe in doing the job right the first time, not cutting corners.
My experience as a flat-rate technician taught me that skipping steps to save time often leads to rework. Following established procedures precisely is the safest and most efficient approach.
If you could leave every collision repair shop with one message, what would it be?
Every day, customers trust us with their safety. Our responsibility is to ensure their vehicles carry them safely from point A to point B.
When working with vehicle safety systems, no detail is too small.
Together, we can raise the industry standard and help ensure everyone gets home safely.
