Who We Are, Where We Came From, and Where We’re Headed

Lightning Auto Service LLC was founded on a vision of upholding automotive manufacturers’ safety requirements—because when it comes to vehicle repairs, safety should never be compromised. With over 40 years of combined experience in service and collision, co-founders John Voulgarakis, Christopher Fox, and Aaron Ball set out to build a company that prioritizes precision, trust, and quality repairs.

Frustrated with industry shortcuts and the limitations of working under others, they launched Lightning Auto Service to create a higher standard of automotive repair—one that ensures ADAS compliance, manufacturer-correct repairs, and top-tier service.

Industry Experts with Real-World Experience

John Voulgarakis: began his career as an automotive technician before quickly advancing to estimator and management roles within local collision centers. His expertise expanded into multi-shop acquisitions and overseeing 160+ OEM-certified collision centers to ensure compliance with manufacturer repair procedures and customer service standards. With experience ranging from local shops to the corporate level, John brings an unmatched depth of industry knowledge to Lightning Auto Service.

Christopher Fox: started as an automotive technician in local mechanical shops before transitioning to an OEM role, where he trained technicians and managed advanced diagnostics across 60+ centers. His background in service and technical training ensures that every repair meets the highest standards of accuracy and reliability.

Aaron Ball: brings over 12 years of experience in the collision industry, with a proven track record of managing large fleet accounts and optimizing operations for high-volume repair facilities. His expertise in financial responsibility and risk management plays a crucial role in scaling Lightning Auto Service efficiently and sustainably, ensuring long-term success and stability.
